
John R. Litzenberg III is a physical therapist and competitive distance runner/ coach, born and raised in his hometown of Sonoma, CA. He attended Columbia University in New York City, where he competed on the cross-country and track and field teams for four years and completed his coursework in 1992– earning a BA in psychology. John is a lifelong San Francisco Giants fan and has been a dedicated season ticket holder for the team since 2000. While Dead At Home is his first published novel, John has written numerous sports articles for the local newspaper over the years, but his true passion is for creative writing. He currently lives with his wife Rene’ in Glen Ellen, CA, not far from Jack London’s famed “Beauty Ranch”—where it still stands today on Sonoma Mountain.
